Reviewers Wanted - Reviewer Guidelines - Writing Markets and Writing Opportunities

Article Syndication Begins

The wonderful worldwide web enables any idiot to become a reviewer. Just go to the local library, browse through the books or watch the videos - and wow! You are ready to let the junk pour out of your distressed brain. Just plaster your reviews on "freebie" and freely hosted sites.

How can you tell if a reviewer's brain is distressed? Because it's written all over their reviews. They want to pull their hair out, they want to rip their eyes out, they pour out their physical sickness all over the reviews. You find out more about their emotional baggage than about the books or videos they are reviewing.

On the other hand, there are professional reviewers who carry out reviews in the traditional sense of the word. They don't burden their readers with their personal baggage. They focus on the book or the video - not on their personal egos. They take time to review the materials - and they provide more balanced and properly considered reviews.

Compare that to amateurs who generate several reviews in one day - in one day!

Arrogant reviewers with egos dozens of times bigger than their brains often watch, read and write with their brains switched off. If they don't understand the book or video, it's far easier to be vitriolic than wise.

They also often claim they could have done much better. That means they would need to have several dozen books and videos to their credit. But of course they don't. These poor souls can't help pouring out their delusions of grandeur in their reviews.
