Informatica Corporation announced that the company was positioned in the "Visionary" quadrant in Gartner's August 25, 2003 report, "Magic Quadrants for EBIS/Reporting and BI Platforms, 2H03." According to Gartner, "Visionaries" are vendors that have a clear vision of market direction and are focused on preparing for that, but they can still improve in terms of optimizing service delivery.
